Giving back: One Tree at a Time  Image

At Cherry Ridge LLC, we find deep importance in any initiative that strives to protect the environment. Our goal as a company is to prioritize environmental protection while working with clients to fulfill their goals and complete their projects. This holiday season, we thought about how we could give back as a company initiative to celebrate our years in business. To commemorate 5 years, we sought out an environmental effort that we felt aligned with Cherry Ridge LLC’s mission. 

We chose Arbor Day Foundation because their vision and values go hand in hand with ours. This foundation is the world’s largest member nonprofit dedicated to planting trees. They have planted over 500 million trees in over 50 countries over the past 50 years. The Arbor Day Foundation is restoring vital ecosystems and making large-scale reforestation efforts possible! 

At Cherry Ridge LLC, we provide environmental services that can handle a wide variety of factors in our ecosystems, which is why protecting them is so important. They are all interconnected and the planting of trees has a large impact on them. Reforestation and the rich biodiversity that comes with it has numerous benefits which include: 

  • Improving air quality 
  • Filtering waterways and keeping them healthy 
  • Pulling carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere 
  • Supporting wildlife and aquatic life by providing habitats 
  • Ensuring a clean source of drinking water

The Arbor Day Foundation is committed to combating climate change one tree at a time. We are committed to contributing to the large-scale reforestation they are making possible. As a company, we want to give back to our community and planet this holiday season! The impact that this foundation has had on our environment is proof of just how important supporting it can be.
